Stormwater Risk Management, LLC. (SRM) is an innovator in developing cost-effective approaches to managing the risks associated with storm water regulatory compliance in the construction and property development industries.
SRM is dedicated to creating mutually beneficial partnerships between the regulatory and construction communities to help achieve improved water quality.
In 2004, SRM developed a voluntary stormwater permit compliance system for general contractors that proved to be very effective. This system was adopted by Colorado’s Water Quality Control Division in 2005 as the foundation of the Colorado Stormwater Excellence Program (CSEP). In 2006, the CSEP gained national acclaim as a successful model for construction industry self-policing.
In 2007, SRM, in partnership with a leading east coast general contractor and Region 3 EPA, developed the Construction Industry Stormwater Excellence Program (CISEP) modeled after the documented success of the CSEP.
